College of Engineering faculty member Prof. Özlem Keskin Özkaya received TÜBİTAK National Research Leaders program research grant.
Her project titled “Human Intractome Project:” aims to reconstruct the human protein-protein interactions combined with 3D structures at genomic scale. The main aim of this project is to extract the comprehensive human interactome, integrate it with the knowledge of 3-dimensional structure. At the end of the 3 year project, a new resource of structural interactome, unique and pioneering in its field will be available to the community. The results can be used in the prognosis and treatment selection towards personalized medicine. The Project will be guided together with Prof. Attila Gürsoy.
