CHBI 590 Seminer Yönergesi

Dear ChBi grad students,

All ChBi grad students (MS and PhD students) have to fulfill the requirements of the ChBi 590 seminar course before graduation.

Every graduate student has to take the course every semester.

All ChBi PhD students in their 3rd or 4th years must give a seminar at least once. The seminars should be 30-40 min long and of conference-style quality, with an extended introduction/background information (10-15 minutes) targeting non-specialists in the field.

The students must sign the attendance sheet during the seminars. If a student misses two seminars without a valid excuse approved by the program coordinators, he/she will automatically receive U as course grade for that semester. If a student gets U twice, he/she will be discontinued from the graduate program. If you are on an official leave, please present a form at the beginning of each semester.

The seminar schedule will be announced by the program coordinators within the first two weeks of each semester.
